Happy Friday, everyone.

:: See, I'm not completely opposed to fan-service. Anyway, enjoy the kiss. Robbie probably did.
:: Aw. Robbie thought he did a decent job at what was probably his first man-on-man kiss. He's disappointed Mr. Hathaway is less than impressed.
:: Who are Mr. Hathaway and Robbie, anyway?
The guy who looks like he lost a fight to a weed-whacker is Morris Hathaway, who takes care of the business aspects of his mom's restaurant, Pamplemousse. Since he got out of prison about five/six years ago, Mr. Hathaway has been making a colossal effort at being a model citizen and a respectable businessman. His suit always looks rumpled at the end of the day, no matter what he does. It vexes him. In the series, he serves as sort of a Gal Friday to Mercedes, Danny, and Hilary, the three main characters.
Robbie Ferreri and Mr. Hathaway knew each other in high school. Since then, while Mr. Hathaway was out being a source of anarchy and a disappointment to his parents, Robbie became a best-selling author, a successful businessman, and food critic. Now, about fifteen years later, they've crossed paths again and are getting along a little better this time.
If you're wondering about archetypes and such, I'd say Mr. Hathaway is "The Girl Next Door," and Robbie would definitely be "The Femme Fatale."
:: Forgive the cut and paste on the very right side. June 24th, not 22nd. I meant to correct it, but forgot.
:: I've also forgotten what comics are due for next week. Haven't even scanned them. They're at home - wait, I scanned one of them. I can remember what the others are.
:: On Monday, someone gets groped. It is a little awkward.
:: On Wednesday, Leslie is done talking unless talking is redefined to mean beer.
:: And on Friday, Derringer is less intuitive than he thinks and Leslie does that thing again where he has to cover Derringer's mouth to make him shut up. It's possibly my favorite running joke in this series.
