Proceed food has very little in the way of a full mineral content even when they have delibrately put in a whole host of vitamins. Some minerals are needed to process those vitamins and the lack of themcan cause serious illnesses. It is also often full of transfat, which the body can't cope with and just stores because it can't eliminate it nor use it.

Then you get lectures that if you'd stay slim you wouldn't be ill. I have told them straight. I was mildly ill and that caused my putting on weight and putting on weight has made me more ill, not the other way around. So I need to deal with the cause not the symptom, to that end I have asked for a whole host of blood tests on what vitamin and mineral shortages I have. This list wasn't entitley complete but my doctor did do most of them and I find that a lot of tests show that my levels are on the bottom of normal or under it.
