Voting about EU membership

May 25, 2016 11:28

This is a reminder that, here in Britain, we're offered a referendum. Do we want to leave the European Union (Brexit) or stay in it (Bremain)?

We'll vote in a secret ballot on 23 June. If like me you've registered yourself to vote by post, you'll have your polling card now. This is an accessible way for disabled people to cast our votes.

Polls are saying that the result will be decided by which kinds of people vote. So I'll say again: whatever you opinion, please vote.

I'll also remind you that Disability News said, disabled people should choose Bremain. According to those authors, Brexit ‘would have dire consequences for disabled people’.

What do you think or feel? If you're a voter here, what will you do? It's a secret ballot so you're not obliged to tell us, or anybody, whether you'll vote Brexit or Bremain. But please do vote.
