Christmas shopping
Yeah me!
I am done! I have spent enough. The only thing that I have left to pay for is the Pipka I am going in with my brothers to get. Speaking of which, Jacob, did you ever call Brenda to finalize that?
Work today was Awesome. There was a watermain break just beyond my building. So, when I got to work, there were no bathrooms. OUCH. Fortunately, when the Big Boss came in, he said that if we didn't have water, or an idea of water by noon, we were closing.
I walked out at noon with a smile on my face!
I had been doing an anti water chant.
I drove to Kennesaw, picked up Katherine, and we hit our first store by 12:30. I was done with shopping by 3:45. Traffic looked horrific in the other direction (towards the shops). I was able to wave to all the people in the other direction.
By 4:15, My oil was being changed.
4:40 I am home!
5:10 I am repotting our bamboo stalks
I even wrapped all of Mic's gifts, so I don't have to hide them in my car anymore.
I still have the family gifts to wrap...but hey, the night is young, and Christmas with the family is still DAYS away.
YEAH ME!!!
It worked out well for Katherine too. She was able to get most of her shopping done as well. Since they only have one vehicle, she would have to wait for her husband to get home to take care of shopping. Longer you wait, more people shopping.
I think we are going to make this an annual event...No, not the watermain break, although a free day from work is nice. I think next year, I am going to take a half day near Christmas, so she and I can shop together.
