Another Friday spent ill in bed. Fucking MacBook charger is knackered AGAIN, so I can't watch anything - I'd really been enjoying re-watching 'Cybill' and 'The Lakes' for more srs bsns, and I was going to celebrate the return to '80s values with an Alan Bleasdale season in my room ('GBH', 'Melissa', 'Jake's Progress', 'Boys From The Blackstuff'), but that's going to have to go on theb back-burner. I am therefore waiting with COMPLETE IMPATIENCE for Topless Robot to just damn well put up this week's Fan Fic Friday entry. Oh FFF, I can't quit you.

It's looking increasingly likely that I won't be able to make it to the Anarchist Bookfair tomorrow, which is extremely infuriating as I've only been waiting all year to go - why does something ALWAYS get in the way of the ABF?? Grr. I've been looking forward to awesome catering from Veggies all month - om nom nom, their burgers, their cakes *drool*
Soooooo bored of being at home now, but I'm still too brain-fried even to do my work. Sucks. Trying to resist the urge to indulge in free-for-all capitalist orgy of purchasing shiny things. Justification that I'll be "helping the economy" does not really count as activism, I fear.
Maybe one shiny thing later. I don't think books about architectural history or the theories of public space count as "shiny", do they?
