So... Stargate Atlantis' season finale, "The Last Man". Won't spoil it... sorta. This is completely and utterly lost_her_sway's fault whom mentioned something about how Sheppard would be perfect in a 'I Am Legend' scenario

But thank you! I'm glad you've enjoyed my art. I'm still staring at this poster and I have to tell you that it's the best use of that promo photo I've ever seen -- you managed to make it not dorky! How did you do that?

I actually found the IAL poster first and had no idea if there was a compatible photo of Joe (much less a full body shot). So stumbled upon the photo and went *SQUUUEEEEEEEEEEE!*

But ermm... dorky? In what sense dorky?

Oh, I only meant that out of context, the promo pic looks, I dunno, kind of awkward? Like, you know, it's obvious that there's a photographer in the studio telling Joe to walk toward the camera.

At least, that was the way I always saw it until now. The way you've contextualized it, I'm not thinking of studios or photographers at all -- I really believe he's in the space, and his expression is just perfect and *flail* not a dorky bit about it.

I think this particular promo pic was meant to be used for one of their promo posters/art. Because on it's own, it does look *dorky* but then hey... once copy and pasted into something, it looks pretty okay. =D

Sure, why not? I should warn you that I'm pretty heavy into slash these days. I do cut-tag all slash and separate it from gen, so my LJ is friendly to both kinds of fans. But just so you know . . .
