Whew...we made it! 2,286 miles from our old Dacula address to our new home here in Burbank. Yay!
I'll tell you, God has made us a beautiful Earth. The desert in Tx, NM and AZ is absolutely breathtaking. If you're familiar with the old John Ford westerns (i.e. The Searchers, Stagecoach, etc), the Arizona was his favorite state to film on location. Just beautiful. And as all deserts are...there was no civilization...for hundreds of miles. Crazy!
But we finally arrived this morning and have unpacked the truck. Yay, again. The Cable Guy got here at 2pm to hook up our tv and computer. So, we were able to watch the 2nd half of the UGa v Tenn game. And the Dawgs kicked some serious gluteals today. Yesss! Now we're just chillin' watching the Braves play the Astros.
Well, that's about it for now. Gotta catch some shut eye. Tomorrow we begin our new church search. Pray God finds us a great spiritual home.
