Yes, yes... the tour continues on...We're now in Odessa, TX. The movie "Friday Night Lights" that came out last summer is about the Permien high school football team here in Odessa. We drove by that high school this evening after we had supper and took a few pics. Western Texas is pretty desolate. Just a couple of miles away is Midland TX...home of GW and Laura Bush. The skies are blue with big puffy cumulus clouds...as far as the eye can see. There's cactus bushes and genuine longhorn steers.
Tomorrow we finally leave Texas, cross through New Mexico and will bed down for the night in Willcox, AZ (just east of Tuscon AZ). It's been a long drive and we're 'bout half through. What beautiful country we've been seeing. Incredible visual memories are being made.
