Exams - School Update

Dec 19, 2005 22:13

Well, its no NaNoRiMo novel, but the final tally for the exams I have taken in the past month is 20,767 words.

The good news is the written portion of my comprehensive exams are complete (barring rewrites). The oral defense of my comps will take place in January. This will be a defense of my major field and minor field exam answers before a committee of three.

Next semester I will begin to narrow my dissertation topic and draft (or begin to draft) my dissertation proposal.
