That's an interesting notion. My house would probably be rambling, and not recognizable as to any architectural style or form. The foyer: comfortable, light and welcoming. Two wings leading off this area. One wing is tastefully furnished with comfy, child friendly furnishings, yet somehow remaining tidy. It's a soothing, relaxing place. My sons have rooms on this wing. I have one also. It's a place conducive to smiles and safety. It's a good place to come home to. The 2nd wing consists of a long hallway. There are a number of doors on this hallway. It's like the hallways in Scooby Doo or Loony Tunes. People could exit the hallway, and then re-enter from any door. The hallway feeds into one large room. This room is walled by book shelves. Books are spilling over. Some are well read and care is given to their placement, others look like they have been tossed aside. There are artifacts and items, both artistic and garish everywhere. There is so much to look at in this room. It's hard to stay there very long, it may give most people headaches. It is a place conducive to hilarity and grief, inspiration and creativity, cynicism and doubt. Not very many people are invited to this part of the house.
You have quite a way with your explainations. I totally don't want to go near that hallway. The ones in Scooby Doo always creeped me out. The other part sounds like a good place to hang out in though. Thank you for your comment, I was just wondering how other people would see themselves.
