Last night I got dragged to a show by a new friend in Berlin, and boy oh boy was I glad that I went. Not only did I meet some totally rad Germans there, but the bands that played were GREAT. Very cool indie improv. Anyways, one of the bands, Norfolk & Western, came over and chatted with us for a bit and told me that they and M. Ward, the main act, were from Portland, OR. (Which is just proof that Portland's a cool fucking city.) Anyways, these people were goooooood, and the drummer for N&W used to play for the Decemberists, I believe. They're headed back to the states in June, so check 'em out!

Also, I'm now done with schoolwork here...which means that I have two months to dick around and do whatever I want in Germany. Heh.

AND I'll be living in the fattest pad in Silverlake. Yay for being a yuppie.
