So lately I have been wracking my brains trying to figure out what I want to do. I feel like cooking for a living is going to be a struggle and end with me still not feeling well. (not to mention never being able to make a decent living or advance beyond where I am.) What I want to do is still be able to make food that people enjoy, and at the same time feel good. I have been thinking about ice cream again. I have several ideas for some really great flavors. Of course there is the ubiquitous vanilla, carrot cake, the blood orange curd idea, I have a couple of chocolate ideas, as well as a rice pudding idea, mint chip, PB&J(?)... I had all kinds of things run through my head today.
My thinking would be to make some basic flavors, some totally unique ones, and some twists on standards. Also to do it using (as much as possible) organic ingredients.
The only stumbling block to doing this is of course money. How do I come up with the money to do what I want to do?
