WHAT...

Amazing. They're sending me to Hokkaido. ME. ME, who not only comes from abroad, but probably has more experience being abroad than anyone else in the school who is going on the school trip. ME, who speaks Japanese, English, and French fluently. Can any other teacher going on school trips boast this? Nope. Not even close. ME, who has no students in his homeroom class going to Hokkaido. ME, who has been to Hokkaido but none of the other trip destinations. ME, who has lived in and endured colder weather than anyone else in the school. So why did they NOT send me to Finland or England? I have no idea. But I am feeling pretty ripped off right now. Not that I deserve this anyways, I mean, it's a free trip (granted, I am looking after students the whole time...) and all, so I shouldn't complain. But I want to. Because I definitely did NOT want to go to either Korea or Hokkaido, but now I'm going. Ugh.

On another note, I have been told that I need to do a better job as homeroom teacher, of being a disciplinarian. I have always sucked at doing so, but in a foreign language? SO hard. Oh man, I would love to walk away from this job today. Lord give me the strength to hang on.
