Basically Christina knew that the proposal was coming. We had been seriously talking marriage for several months. Her parents already expected it. She knew I was already shopping for a diamond. I wanted to do it on or before Valentine’s Day. I ended up buying the ring in NYC on Chinese New Year’s Eve… not just that, ( Read more... )

I've been educated by several jewelers the past few months myself. You certainly did your homework on this one. Based on the specs you listed, that's one great stone! Something, I'm looking for myself. To have an F color and VS1 clarity with the proportions of the ideal cut, that's a great buy. The fire of the diamond really all depends on the table size and depth. If you have gotten this at the mall, you probably had to pay double the price. I'm glad you purchased directly from the owner himself. Did he charge you tax tho?

CONGRATS again! Hey btw, did you work for Cap Group before? From your photos, you look familiar.

it was summer time. i was working with the software packaging group. that lonesome QA lab where normally 3 people were stationed...typing away codes of VB script. Dave (forgot his last name) was one of them. i don't know if he still works there tho.

well support of the crs lab has flip flopped a lot... so the novell account is still around.

The other contractor (packager) in the Q/A lab left. Mike (mac guy) is still contracting. they hired a new contractor that sits in the lab... and hired a perm packager a while back.
