[For anyone and everyone who has an invitation]Now that Phillipe's home was filling up with faces that Julien just basically didn't recognise, he was having second, third, forth and tenth thoughts about any sort of party. It was too late, though, and he had to like it or lump it. Phillipe knew just about everyone here on some level, as was what

He watched the crowds where the blond model was and laughed. "I don't know any of those people. I only know the tanned one has to be Tom's partner, and the kilts are probably indicative of them being his family. I don't know the redhead or anyone in about a thee meter radius there, and it's supposed to be my partner," he said with a smirk. "Would you like to be an agent, your insecurities aside?"

She smiled as she moved a little closer to Julien and pointed again. "I don't know the redhead either, but the tallest dark haired one is Iain. He's the restraunteur. This is all what I've figured out for myself, by the way. And with Liam's help. The guy next to him is his boyfriend, another doctor. He's ex-Army though, I think. Or maybe it was the Marines... He's American. The shortest one tugging on Stu's kilt is his other brother Angus. Callum isn't here, he's a football star in Scotland." Lauren rest her hand on his arm. "Your brother's heart is in the right place, but it would definitely be hard attending a party for you where you don't know a single soul. No wonder my sister's taken you under her wing. I... yeah, I would."

He looked over all the people she was pointing out and nodded slowly. "Actually, I caught the America accent in passing, just didn't think much on it. It's quite a gathering, it makes my head spin a little. I'm not used to being around this many people lately without them being in camo. Don't get me wrong, though, this sort of scene I'm not really foreign to."
Reply
She raised an eyebrow. "Not foreign to it, but still don't like it? It's okay not to, you know. I know I have a big family, but that doesn't mean I don't like the more intimate type of gatherings. Which we somehow manage to pull off even with our numbers."
Reply
"Never much liked it," he corrected. "But you get raised in this sort of enviroment, it's just second nature. I was a bit of a black sheep. We have a big family too, just mostly extended family members throughout France. Mingling makes me appreciate pay TV," he laughed.
Reply
"Are you planning on getting back to France at some stage?" Lauren laughed as well. "Well, sure. I can see that."
Reply
He nodded. "Oui, bien sûr. I miss home, I'll visit my family soon. But I'll have to come back, pick up work on the base in Middlesex once my break is over. I'm not just a pilot, I'm an engineer, so I do a lot of technical work when I'm grounded."

She bit her lip. "I've been to France once as a child. Can you imagine us Morgans invading your homeland? All us noisy Brits. It was the one and only holiday our parents could afford. It was for their wedding anniversary and they just couldn't go without us." She blinked as she looked at him. "Oh wow, that's cool."
Reply
He smirked. "You'd be surprised how many noisy Brits invade our homeland during tourist season. Family vacations... our parents were always too busy for them. Too many social committments."
Reply
"I wouldn't, and I just really hope I'm not one of those. They're so embarrassing and obnoxious. The French must really hate tourist season. That's sad... They still had time for you two at least, didn't they?"
Reply
"It's been a long time since I've been anywhere near the tourist parts of France. We live more in the country than near the likes of the Eiffel Tower. They did, always. Just maybe not as much as a general family. With a heritage like ours, you have obligations. It's why Phillipe is more well-known than me, more prominently in the spotlight whether he likes it or not... he's the family heir."
Reply
"I always wanted to see that side of France. I think the more rural parts of a country interest me than the tourist spots. I mean, we live in London. It's one big tourist city. I don't need to see it somewhere else." Lauren's eyebrows went up before she could help herself. "Shit... That's some responsibility."
Reply
"You should. It's magnifique. It will always be home, but sometimes you just need to be where you're meant to be. England for both of us right now. I have lived in London, until I shifted to Middlesex. Luckily, it's not very far away. About twenty minutes drive, or so." He nodded. "Indeed, not one he really has much choice on. He nose if he turns his back on it, it lands in my lap and he just wants to protect me. There might only be a few minutes between us, but he's the best big brother."
Reply
"I will eventually. There's a few places I want to see, but I just keep a list in my mind and one day I'll manage to start travelling. Twenty minutes really isn't bad at all. At least you're still close to Phillipe." Lauren smiled. "I'm beginning to see that. Maybe my sister will too eventually."
Reply
"Why don't you just start travelling now? You know, if you're an agent, you'd be doing that. All your clients wouldn't be in one place," he pointed out.

She stuck her tongue in the corner of her mouth as she glanced over at Braden. "You're right... I would."
