Today on digg.com there was an article about iconic music voices that the author thinks would be awesome as voices on a GPS. Notably Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Axl Rose and Ozzie Osborne... though I'm not sure Ozzie is a good idea. You'd have a mumbling GPS. That could be a potential hazard
