just to say..
Today on digg.com there was an article about iconic music voices that the author thinks would be awesome as voices on a GPS. Notably Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Axl Rose and Ozzie Osborne... though I'm not sure Ozzie is a good idea. You'd have a mumbling GPS. That could be a potential hazard.
However, I have decided if I could program my GPS voice it'd sound like Majel Roddenberry. Because THAT would be awesome. To me, anyway. Or Gary Jones. Either, really.
