Storm's a brewin'
The dime-sized hail began to drum against the roof of the building where I hang out between my hourly patrols at work. This followed earlier flashes of lightning and thunder. This marks a rare occurrence here in Los Angeles--a thunderstorm. It's nice to get some weather, and the rain allows me to forego patrolling, which I heartily endorse.
I made plans to see Eragon with Shana this afternoon. It will be nice to see her. It's been almost four months since the last time, when I went to her daughter Emily's 2nd birthday party. We're also supposed to go see Rocky Balboa sometime, using the tickets we won on Blingo.
Tomorrow night I will be going to The Gig on Melrose in Hollywood to meet a bunch of fellow lala members (SandyMan, Ricky Raccoon, Zesty, Vance, and KimH). It should be lots of fun. Music + lala friends + alcohol = a good time had by all.
