My poor teeth
I went to the dentist today for a long overdue exam. My last exam, if I recall, was in February 2004, while I was still working for Health Net and had dental HMO benefits. After I quit for grad school in July 2004, I had no dental insurance and didn't go for another cleaning until December 2005, a year ago. Now I have Blue Shield of California PPO for both medical and dental, and so I went to get my teeth checked and cleaned. The cleaning was pretty simple. But the bad news from the exam is that I have 5 microcavities that require filling and an infection under one of my molars that requires a root canal. Bloody hell! I'm going in on Monday the 18th for the cavities, and then they will schedule the root canal. Oh well, I just gotta suck it up.
Still, it wasn't all bad...I had a fun little exchange of forum posts with Clare on lala and then later on she called me. Oh, it was so sweet to hear her voice again. I really missed talking to her. I guess the forum regulars on lala pretty much know Clare and I are together, at least on lala. One of the members congratulated us on our pairing. I'm glad no one has criticized us. We just don't need that headache.
