No, it never gets old!
That final scene is a great moment for sure, but the opening scene -- that is all about Richard Gere's hotness and about his ass (yes it is!)-- is quite something too...
Apparently Richard Gere and Debra Winger couldn't stand each other, and yet the chemistry in all their scenes is incredible, just like it was in Moonlighing between Bruce Willis and Sybil Sheperd! That's the magic of cinema.
Of course my favourite scene from the movie is still the one in which Zack gives up on the obstacle record and helps Seeger to pass the wall...
