Okay maybe not, because "The Quality of Mercy" was another stellar Mad Men episode. I've often said that the show was overrated, but these 4 last episodes have been high quality, very thought-provoking. Such meat to chew on! The second half of the sixth season has been excellent.

Yeah I noticed that everybody was in love with Jaime and Brienne, but I never saw anyone professing their love for Stannis, at least not on my flist, so I thought I was the only one.

I don't care about the books, I tried reading them but was turned off by the writing style, so I guess that my appreciation of Stannis is not tainted by prejudice.

VK is really excellent and Pete is such a tragic character, but I believe you are behind episodes so I won't spoil you.

Concerning Mad Men, the first half the season was meh, but the second half is excellent.

Mmm...I don't see a lot in common between GRRM's books and Les Rois Maudits either storytelling-wise or writing style-wise. It's probably some characters and the political feuds and plots that inspired him.

Btw Les Rois Maudits had a great tv adaptation in the 70's, which I loved when I was a child. All 6 episodes are on youtube.
