Yesterday I went to the movies and saw Drive which won at Cannes Festival the prize for best mise en scène and it did deserve it.

I was also very pleased to see my Bryan Cranston on the big screen, now that Breaking Bad's fourth season is finished (and yes I will go and see Contagion to see him again, him and John Hawkes!).

Cool! It's coming out here this week--my friend and I are really looking forward to checking it out after hearing about the film closing the Melbourne International Film Festival back in August. The fact that Bryan is in it is a bonus :)

Blink's one of my favourite DW eps ever *thumbs up* Carey Mulligan is also pretty darn good in "An Education". It's great to see her doing so well in terms of big screen roles.

She was great in An Education indeed but she was a brunette while she's blonde in Drive so very Sally Sparrow-like!

Bryan's career is going well. Hopefully, Aaron will get roles in good films too.

Yeah, I notice Bryan popping up on a few prominent films of late. Judging by the latest films Aaron's been linked to, he seems to be going for indy flicks over any blockbuster types. Not a bad thing to do :)

True, he seems to be picky which is not a bad thing. Not al indy flicks are good though. I wish him to follow John Hawkes' steps and to get some day a role like Teardrop in Winter's Bone !
