My Dad won a Prize
My dad won the J. Robert Pickering Award for Playwriting Excellence.
He's been writing since he retired from IBM. He once said to me, I didn't find my real job until I was almost seventy. Yes, he was good at computers and managing people, but he loves writing. Which is surprising, given how social he is.
And he submitted.
So now, I can proudly say, that I have to follow in my dad's footsteps if I want to get published.
