The PirateFest Awards Show is a week away.

Finally got the shawl from Hong Kong that I bought.

Saved the packaging, due to the pretty pretty foreign stamps.

Need desperately to dye my hair this weekend. My hair coloring has digressed from red to medium-brown with red highlights.

An observation stemming from the arrangement of white roses, stargazer lillies, and gardenias that was delivered to my house the other day:

Stargazer lillies, when half-bloomed, smell a little like that comforting but indefinable sweet smell of bedsheets you share with someone you love.
