I love board games too! Same here, no one wants to play. I've had that problem my whole life. Why do people buy you board games, especially as a kid, if they don't want to play it with you? I also like card games, and hide and seek, which the kids think is pretty funny. Noah has recently started to like board games, so I've gotten him a few- but he's not completely fun to play with because he either cries when he loses or has a bad turn, or he has a little fit of rage. (Example- got Sorry for Christmas. I sent one of his pieces back and he just slung the whole thing. I haven't played again yet though he has asked ( ... )

My family back in Pennsylvania loves board games, but aside from the time they visit once or twice a year, I don't get any gaming time. We grew up playing board games and card games, so those were a huge part of my life and it makes me sad that we don't have that anymore ( ... )

I adore museums and art galleries.
One of my favourite parts from my Vancouver trip was my visit to their art gallery. Surrealist art, Ken Lum, and Canadian art. The building looks drab on the outside IMO but it's amazing inside. The emperor's new mall (or museum), as Coupland would say.
I wished to head to the museum too but didn't have time.

I regularly visit my local art gallery and head to the museum whenever they have exhibits I'm interested in.

My interest may stem from how I have fond childhood memories of museums. My parents regularly took me to our local one as well as at least one other out of town.

I didn't know D.C. had a lot of museums. This makes me want to visit even more. One of my best friends lives near there and wants me to visit.

I wish my family had taken me to more museums, when I was a kid, my experience with museums was mostly just school field trips. But after I graduated and started driving, I began to head out on my own to various museums. I love art and history and I love how much you can almost feel a part of it, just by being next to those objects.

DC is a museum-goers dream. It's not just the ton of Smithsonian museums there, there's places to visit all over town. Definitely, if you get the chance to go, I couldn't recommend it enough. I've been twice and I still can't wait to visit again.
