Suburbia

I never really noticed how picturesque Alhambra was. Let me explain. I walked outside at 6:30 pm and the sun was setting. It was quiet with the occasional car that would roll by. I talked with my mother who was watering the lawn with the hose. I walked around the corner and there was another chinese people tending to his yard. Around the second corner and a scene that would bring peace to any person. Bald chinese person planting flowers, full head of hair chinese person renovating his house, white children across the street riding their bicycles with a little girl on a scooter. On the way back to my house, a hispanic mother yelling to her child that dinner was ready, a women power walking her dog, and a young gentleman with a baby on his shoulder and another in the baby carriage. It really makes me wonder why I don't get out and walk more.

Quick summary of this past weeks most important events.
1) Saw my car roll over to 1000 miles. *tear* They grow up so fast. Almost picked a fight with the back of a semi while staring at my odometer.
2) Got paid.
3) Allison turned 19 (Happy Birthday). Gave her the most important gift I have ever given to date. I hope she knows how much it means to me.

Gas money to date: 165.00.

PS. Obama in 2008!
