The True American

Jul 06, 2004 00:37

So I partook in the the classic American pastime today. NO I didn't go to a baseball game, poor Eric Gagne by the way, and no I wasn't selected for jury duty. Nope. This dates back to the early 1900s when Henry Ford first created the assembly line. Yup you guessed it, I filled up my 4Runner with gasoline. So i stood there leaning on my car for a good 3 minutes longer than it would've taken to fill up my Camry. What makes it truly American is that it was $34.67 to fill up the 16 or so gallons. Kind of sad...I only got 255 miles out of it. Well so it goes.

PS. Joe Scarborough is a real big dumb head.
PPS. Lost $19 in poker today. Darn.
