Sanctuary - 3x08 - For King and Country
That's three episodes in a row! Will the miracles never cease? No, seriously that has been the best episode of the season so far. I'm definitely watching next week.
I would so watch a spinoff focused on The Five set in Victorian times, both causing and preventing mayhem, just doing their thing. They are so much more awesome than the regular cast. Ahh, I can always dream...
Okay, so just listing the stuff I loved:
- Tesla's concern for Helen at the begining.
- the flashbacks with the Five, but especially the one with the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vibe.
- Hah! Griffin actually exists! And he's a bank robber too!
- Tesla's response to the call of duty. "I'm Serbian."
- Will, the male concubine. Sorry Will, but that's gonna stick.
- the Henry/Tesla scenes, they really have to team up those two for a whole episode.
- Tesla's expression and the way he said "kinda" after he got busted about John and the *loving* way he said "homicidal little bastard" referencing Adam earlier.
- the Helen/Druitt scene, you know the one. It was very sad and really showed how vurnelable Helen was at that moment.
- the different POV flashbacks from Adam and Helen.
- Will being a self-rightous asshole. I really think it was for the sake of drama though, but it worked for me.
