I sent off my application for the place I was offered yesterday. Got a call from the landlord today, I'm in!

I was stressing that credit report and turns out it could be a WHOLE lot worst. So effective August 1, I'll have a new place to lay my head. I'll be living with two girls, both college graduates in the upper mission. It's a residential area where the street kids don't bother to bum change or start fights. That was a huge draw for me. It's a bit out of the way but accessible 24 hours a day by bus or train. Also, a short short ride to City College, where I hope to begin classes in the fall.

Before I got the news that I had to leave, I remember thinking..How am I going to deal with working two jobs THEN hopping on a bus for an hour to get to class on time?

That problem solved itself. Now I'll be like 15 mins away from work by bart, can stop at home and smoke, then hop on a 43 for a few minutes and be at class. I'm hoping this is a sign of positive things to come.

In the meantime, I'm starting to focus on my label some more with FEST 8 right around the corner. I'm putting togther another comp and finally releasing this Send Help album. It sounds fantastic, I almost can't believe a couple of my close buddies are responsible for this music. All of the comp stuff is underwraps for now, but we're at 5 songs and i've emailed 6 bands. I think it's off to a good start!

OH! and BOA actually didn't fuck me for once. Paypal deducted $110 bucks from my bank account for these websites I didn't want to renew. I didn't know that I had authorized payment automatically (apparently in the terms of agreement) and got a $35 overdraft in the process. I disputed it, they resolved it. I was super surprised to see that letter tonight, especially just after I'd gotten approved for my new spot.
