I'm running for over half a mile now.
Oh, not all at once, mind you. I can run a third of a mile (plus a little), and then we run/walk, run/walk, run, and then walk until we hit thirty minutes.
Here is what that looks like:
Run: 7:40 (we increase by :20 every time)
Walk: 5:00
Run: 1:00
Walk: 2:00
Run: 1:00
Walk: 2:00
Run: 1:00
Walk: 10:20
Anyway, this means if I run at a 3 mph pace (yeah, I'm not breaking any speed records), I'm running more than half a mile. Which means because we run three times a week, I'm running a mile and a half a week.
And while it's not easy, there are days where it does get easier.
Last night, I actually looked forward to running. I think there's something wrong with me.
