Only so many variations of "hope you can join us" exist.

Tonight I filled out all our save-the-date postcards and put a little personalized message on each one. Yeah, that's one of those things that seems like a good idea until you start to do it.

Also, I talked to my cousin Stephanie tonight for a really long time. Which, for Steph, is about ten minutes, but she's pretty severely autistic so having a conversation of any kind is a big thing. This was my favorite part:

Steph: Where will you and [The Fiancé] live?
Missy: We'll live in [town name].
Steph: Do you have a house yet?
Missy: We do, actually.
Steph: Oh my goodness, that's wonderful!

I wish you guys could have heard her voice. Normally, she speaks in a very flat tone, but tonight, she actually had real emotion there! Apparently, she's on some new drug that's really doing good things for her. Anyway, it was very exciting and kind of made my night, even if it did make my mom sad. (My mom isn't doing real well with the idea of me moving out.)
