my car broke down on the way home. I had to push it a couple blocks to a parking lot. Walked a ways, called my dad, walked back, got it jumped, barely got it home and now am charging it, in hopes of it working for work in the morning. :fingers crossed: action such as this, makes it hard for one to sleep. -break ( Read more... )

For me, LJ is more than an outlet for concepts. Frequently its a way of refining ideas and concepts that might otherwise be left in a less than refined form. The other thing that happens is that I post to other people's journals. This is frequently done in a private context so that it becomes privilaged communications. There can be a "self help" aspect to some of what goes on here that is smaller and more intimate than some of the self help communities here.

AS far as that rope goes? I can't sepak for you but I know what I have experienced. I think the last time I thought I was end of my rope, I basically let go to find out that I had been standing on solid ground the whole time. It was a very weird experience. Since then, with the aid of herbal supplements, I am taking a more pragmatic view of things that used to send me over the edge.

Sounds like your car needs one of the following:
  • battery posts and connectors need cleaning
  • fan belt needs tightening
  • new battery
  • new alternator

I have pierced ears, on in my right, two in my left. I originally did it because, well, because pirates have pierced ears :)

Tattoos, I have one too. Hurt like heck. Loved the result. I am looking at getting a back tattoo next, a celtic cross of some sort. I am probably going to have to design it.

Some songs are meant to be felt.

Hey, thanks for the post. Indeed, it was the alternator... curses. And I rather agree w/ your livejournal statement. I was just feeling somewhat bitter and objects/non-objects in general for their apathy, so I took it out on livejournal ;) Anyways, thanks for your post! Take care, ;)
