In honor of Kihae day-Missing You

                                                                   Missing You

"Heechul, do you miss Hangeng today?"
Heechul sighed, then answered "Not until you mentioned him."
"Oh, sorry...how often do you miss him when he's not mentioned?"
"Oh...every other day I think, on average. Which is SO much better than every other hour, like at first," he said, almost chuckling.
"Why? How often do you miss Kibum?" Heechul inquired.
"Am I that obvious?"
"Yes, Donghae, you're always obvious."
"Hmmm....not often, now. Maybe every two weeks."
"And you're missing him right now."
"Yeah..." Donghae paused.
"Which body part of Hangeng do you miss most?"
Rolling his eyes, Heechul answered "I don't know, off the top of my head. I think I am one of those rare, strange people who miss a person as a unit, rather than in parts."
"Are you being sarcastic?"
"Of course not" he said with a smirk.
"Whatever, I can see-"Impossible"-okay, FEEL your smirk from here."
Heechul smiled.
"Which body part of Kibum do you miss most?"
"You have to answer me first!"
"Why...?" Heechul asked quizzically with a raised brow.
"It's the principle of the thing! I asked first, so I get answered first" Donghae answered with childish certainty.
"Whatever, I'm your hyung, it doesn't matter."
"Well, I refuse-"Fine! Thinking about it a little, his face. Right now, seeing/hearing him talk, his smile, etc., are what I miss most. Happy? Now answer."
Donghae paused. "Now I feel weird. Maybe I should say face, too. I hadn't thought about his smile" Donghae grinned thoughfully.
"Whatever, Donghae, just say what's on your mind."
"His arms....for his hugs."
"Well... that makes sense."
"It does?"
"With how much he hugged you? I'm surprised I don't see you randomly looking for his hand on your shoulder even now."
"I used to sometimes. I used to be able to feel it there, even when it wasn't."
"Not now?"
"Now...I have to concentrate" Donghae said sadly.
Heechul swallowed hard, wondering how long before he'd have to concentrate to feel Hangeng. Memories have to fade to make way for new memories, he thought. But as long as the new memories are good, I guess that's okay.

Author's Note: Sorry I didn't reunite them. The ending is just...fail. But...I write on inspiration, and this is what came to me today. A simple dialogue between friends. Someday my fics may have plot, but not yet. Hope someone likes it, but I really write for myself :)

kihae friendship, hanchul friendship
