Livejournal informed me that my last post was 27 weeks ago. The New Year, I believe. I must admit I would have forgotten about this altogether had it not been for a certain sister of mine (who, in scanning over previous entries, seems to be mentioned quite frequently).
This summer has yielded much less productivity than I had initially intended. I had outlined a running schedule, in which a mile would be added each week, planned to work on my athletic ability in areas of soccer, tennis, and basketball, and composed a reading list of about 30 books (hoping to get through at least five of them). A tad ambitious, you say? I wholeheartedly agree. My plans really could have been carried out- just not with my self-discipline (or lack thereof). I can say that I've thankfully begun to read again- currently I'm working on Firestarter by Stephen King (I grabbed the smallest book off the shelf by this author as I wanted to start with something I thought I could finish) and I thought it'd be best to skim through Harry Potter 6 before the movie comes out. Alright, alright, I admit it's not nearly as impressive as the novels Choo Choo decides to tackle, or would have at my age, but seriously, I only just began to read on my own accord. I'm thinkin' some Orwell is going to be my next target.
I would try to wrap up my trip to Europe in a nutshell, but it just can't be done. So I won't even begin to mention any of the highlights in the fear that I won't be able to stop. I could also list many complaints I had, but hey, I went to Europe, so how bad could it have possibly been?
I've always wondered why livejournal gave a space for music at the end of posts.
