I started the new year with old contacts.
I'm beginning to see less and less the importance of certain holidays. So what if 2008 ended and it's the start of a fresh, new chapter? I say it's only an excuse for people to make resolutions, get drunk, and wake up next to a stranger. And that's only going to happen again the next weekend, then the next. Is there ever any REAL change in our lives? Not mine.
Speaking of change, I'm single again.
So in this attempt to change our ways by improving our personalities or kicking old habits, how many of us actually go through with our mediocre plans? Yes, I possess many flaws, but none of which I truly have the patience or self-discipline to improve upon. So in closing, I commend those who wish to resolve some negative aspect of their lives, an opportunity that floats by as I lazily watch it pass from the sidelines. Toodle-oo, 2008.
