So the party ended up being kind of a bust. The show was great. Grand Hallway and Stars of Track and Field were both quite good. I'd never seen either of them before (though I've heard Tomo of Grand Hallway spoken of rapturously). Some By Sea were awesome as always. Sadly, the evening pretty much ended there. We didn't make it home from Seattle until quite late, so it's understandable. Nathan did hang out for a while after the show, but even he had to leave before too long.
Earlier yesterday, I got to help coalcreek finish up the eviction of his crazy squatter. Since we were hauling all the stuff she left to the dump, I got quite the haul of goodies including a printer, scanner, very large television, and even a fairly new air conditioning unit.
Monday I have to go in to get fingerprinted and take a drug screen and a physical test. That should be the last thing I have to do before training starts January 9. Well, that and figure out how I'm going to have enough money to eat while staying in Portland for four weeks with Powell's beckoning.
