It's starting to seem likely that the Red Cross won't be sending many more volunteers to the Gulf for the time being, and they still have people who have been waiting weeks if not months since they completed their training, so it looks like those of us who went through training more recently won't get to go

Sorry, must have forgotten to post about it at the time. Basically I had personal conflicts with one of the managers, a total asshole and he eventually gave me this talk that said 'You might want to think about quitting because it's a lot easier to find another job if you quit voluntarily than if you get fired.' So I quit.
