I'd searched everywhere in my computer and on the iPod for the missing files. They were not there. My computer started having some issues, so I rebooted and somehow the files were back on my iPod. I don't know how this works. It's not like my computer had been unable to read the iPod, as I browsed all the folders in it looking for the files
