It's kinda funny how things work out. I was having a rather crappy night for no particular reason at all. But through a series of wonderful (i daresay providential) events I'm feeling much better.

I'd like to say a big thanks to Søren Kierkegaard. He was exactly what I needed today, and he just happened to be there when I needed him. A few tidbits from Fear and Trembling for general edification:

"He who loves God without faith reflects upon himself, he who loves God believingly reflects upon God."

"By faith I make renunciation of nothing, on the contrary, by faith I acquire everything."

I can't even explain how that was exactly what I needed to understand, cuz it took me a few thousand words of rambling to figure it out myself.

woke up to a fire alarm around 5.45am, then i just went to starbucks till 10 and read and wrote, it was a good morning.

And they played an acoustic "sadie hawkins dance" at coffee house. you just can't beat that.
