Apparently it's relevant to some of your comments that I'm mostly "based" off of these chapters. :/ Just what I've heard.

And there's nothing amusing about flexibility. It's a necessary trait for handling a tricky opponent.

And being flexible is certainly not a negative thing in itself, just in particular instances. (Like, morally flexible, for instance-)

Tch, moral flexibility's the same as having no morals at all. Negates the definition if you bend it. Yet people think they can get away with it all the time....too scared of doing the wrong thing still, but too selfish to see the hypocrisy that comes with rationalization.

Everybody does it. Not positive, not negative, just a fact.

You don't say.

And what about people that consider someone's actions as a heinous unforgivable crime, but rationalize it as reasonable when they themselves commit the exact same actions?
