(no subject)
I haven't posted an entry since Monday...I'm getting good at this not-posting-every-day thing.
Anyways, Kris is here. He called me Tuesday night and was like "I'm in Seattle and it turns out my hostel is on an island...what are you up to tonight?" So he drove up here and spent the night. Then yesterday after a myriad of poorly given directions, he made his way to UBC and I gave him a tour. Afterwards, we went downtown on a bit of a wild goose chase for a sweater...went from Robson down to East Hastings (it turns out I don't really know where Gastown is) and didn't find the sweater but found some other stuff instead. Then we went out for food so Kris could buy a Guinness (drinking is legal here, you know) and then he dittched me to go wander around the liquor store. He came back and chatted with Christine and I for a while, and then Spencer showed up for a bit while Kris was watching his movie. Then Spencer left and we all went to bed.
So now Kris is still sleeping on our hide-a-bed and I don't have class this morning because my class is going to a play. He should be leaving this morning/afternoon, and it will be nice to have my life back.
