When Everything is Just another item on the To-Do List

I was reminded earlier today that I had a social engagement tonight. I'll go and have fun in all likelihood, no doubt. One the other hand, it almost feels as just another item on the ever-growing ever-incomplete to-do list. Ok, back to working on three different things (drafting a grant application, drafting a review essay and reading an article for class) before I head off to class in an hour.
