I woke up with a splitting headache. I had no idea where I was, who I was with, or what was going on, but I didn't really care because my head was pounding like a bass drum. I put my head on my forehead and moaned. This wasn't just a hangover headache, this was something completely different. And that's when the memories started coming back to me.
There had been a man with a knife and Nina was there. Then there were two more men and they told him to leave me alone. He pushed me, I tripped and now here I am. I opened one eye and peeked around...where ever here was, that is. The room I was in was cozy and warm and very unfamiliar. It was extremely stylish though and kind of flashy, which made me wonder if I was in a drag queen's dressing room.
I sat up slowly, holding my head and keeping it from rolling away, and called out, "Hello...? Anyone home?" I winced, because I was sure that I'd spoken quietly, but I must not be able to control the volume of my voice, because that really hurt my head. I started to stand but the room decided to start moving in a circle, so I sat back down on the bed and whimpered. I heard movement, so I looked up and saw the green demon from earlier in the night. I swallowed and hoped he was a nice as he'd seemed to be, "Um...hi."
