I was supposed to go to jury duty yesterday. Unfortunately, most of Upper Marlboro was underwater when I got down there. The jury form said to park at the Equestrian Center and get bussed over to the court house, and there was no way to get to the Equestrian Center due to the 2 feet of water covering the lot. oooh i went to value village yesterday! i did pretty well too. four pair of jeans and a whole bunch of stuff for gifties. *squee*

I haven't been going as regularly as I used to, but the last two times I went I had great luck. I have really refined my thrifting technique which enabled me to find a beautiful cotton/linen dress. Natural fibers FTW!

i haven't been going so often either, but except for the last time i was there, i've been doing pretty well the past few times. most of my clothes now are from the village. i love 25% off mondays. and don't forget that on holidays they usually do 50% off. hello memorial day....
