a few things.... puzzill July 26 2006, 14:52:13 UTC
Jen,

I am sure you have heard this before...but please before you give up and you tink you have have "tried" everything else:

Please try accupuncturea and also find a Reiki massage healer who does Loho-Chi and Trager. Please please please listen to me on this. Start out with some accupuncture while you are continuing all your other methods of pain management. Keep going to western Dr's and taking your meds but really try to find someone in jax who can do:

TRAGER MASSAGE and or/Loho-Chi and/or Reiki (all 3 would be wonderful)

They hardly touch your body, so there will be harsh massaging associated with this. I feel this will help you some.It is not abbrasive and they cannot cause you anymore pain.

Also, please have faith in a higher power. Ask for help. Believe that you can be helped and healed. Visualize the energy you need coming to you. I believe that the Trager and Reiki can help you open back up to healing so that you can begin to feel some good things again.

This is the important part that you do not lose faith. but remember you can also ask for help.

I am not saying to stop going to Dr's or taking your meds...but try all this WHILE doing your normal things.

please just try.

i hope this helps.

peace n love

i actually had been researching these exact things ha, what at coincidence. problems are finances. i have no friends who can do this, and after checking into several places i was told i wouldnt know if acupuncture, for example, would work until 6-8 visits, at $80 a pop. i've been out of work for almost 1 1/2 years straight, with the occasional part time work here and there when i MUST. and cap has gotten hooked on wow so he isnt playing as much poker. just got a big huge brand new house (before we knew i had to have surgery #2) and my kids tuition is $1,000 a month. i would send her to public school but she has been diagnosed with adhd.. whether the diagnosis is correct or not, she has a SERIOUS focusing problem and this is the first school she has learned anything at. K2, K3, K4.. i just watched her stare at the ceiling and her feet, or simply walk around the room while the rest of the kids were working and learning... not til THIS school has she actually learned anything. and she's learned it FAST. i'm afraid if i take her out, she'll stop learning again, and the waiting list is MILES long to get back in...

if you know of any schools in the area who offer discount services, i'll happily go, or if you know a person, i'll drive wherever... i'm not looking for free, i just cant payu $80 a session to not even know if its going to work for 8 sessions...
