Same old stuff...
Another week has gone by, filled with basically the usual stuff. Work was...well, work. I'm definitely tired of all the drama that surrounds the place. If everyone would just be nice, treat everyone else the way they wanted to be treated, and be honest...we wouldn't have so many problems. Of course, that's easier said than done in a unit full of women.
Saturday, my mom and I went to Charlotte to look at these boots I'd been eyeing online. When we got there, they weren't the right color at all. Oh, well. Then we drove around uptown looking at the new arena and the coliseum. We then spent a good bit of time shopping in Gastonia, then it was off to Hickory.
I straightened up some around here today, packed up the shoes I'm returning, and balanced my checkbook. Abigail seems to be doing better. I stopped using the ointment on her because it seemed to bother her. I just hope she continues to do well.
I haven't gotten to talk to Leo much this weekend. He's been busy with work and such. It also sucks that when he is home, we can hardly talk on the phone unless he stands outside. Definitely not his idea of relaxing at home. Oh, well. I just hope he isn't mad at me for something. I really do love him more than anything, and I'm not sure he knows that all the time.
My computer got infected with lots of spyware/trojan/hacker crap today. Believe it or not, I researched everything online, and didn't even need any help from Leo. I'm so proud of myself. :-)
I also talked to Dad a little bit on the phone tonight. I've decided I'm going to WV during the Thanksgiving holiday. I figure it's about time I go up there, even though I really don't feel like it. I'm gonna try to see if Leo will be able to come home any because I really don't wanna go up there on the same day he'll be home. We'll see.
That's about it for my weekend. There's a holiday this week, which means 8-5 days and an hour for lunch. I enjoy only working 32 hours, but I'm not a fan of the hour lunch. It'd be awesome if we could take a half hour lunch and go home at 4:30, but we can't. Oh, well.
