What?! But...Rue! My hand's hurt, but that's all! I don't want to be stuck in bed, particularly not on Christmas Eve.

You are staying until the doctors say you can leave. I will be out in a stroll with Mytho, but I will return after.

It's not like I'm going to 'escape' from the hospital or something. That's ridiculous. I just want them to hurry up and let me out. There's nothing more they can do for me.

[sighs] Have a nice walk with Mytho.

An injury in the hand for any musician is serious. I would take seriously any injury on my feet!

[Leans over to arrange the pillows when a mistletoe appears above them. So without even noticing, she had inclined further into a kiss.]

It doesn't matter, the only thing my piano playing is good for is--

[cut off by Rue's kiss, lightly returning it and blushing madly, momentarily forgetting about the curse--and, well, practically everything else]

[Notices the mistletoe and throws a sharp black feather to destroy it.]

I couldn't help myself, Autor. This stupid curse needs to end after midnight.

[stares for a minute, then takes a deeeeep breath and rubs at his cheek with an irritated look, as if he can rub away his blush]

I-I know. I couldn't help it with Rosette, either. It's okay.

[princess_crow]

What an insipid curse.

[Gives a light shrug, ignoring Autor's obvious blushing. She already knows about his obvious feelings but she has learned how to turn her eye from them.]

Mytho must be waiting. Don't give the nurses trouble and stay still. Who else will play the piano for me if you don't look after your hand as should be?

At least they're just kisses. Fairly chase ones, at that...
