Research Paper #98

Jul 22, 2007 20:58

Odd. There's a window here at the opera that I've never seen before. In a wall that should open up to another room, but...when I look through it I can see a town.

Not just any town, either. I think it's...I think it's Kinkan Town, my hometown. Seems like it leads right out to the center of town--I can see the church where Drosselmeyer's story-writing machine was hidden.

...If I opened it and went through it, would I go home?

Part of me is afraid that if I left, I'd never come back. I don't know if I want that...Fakir and Rue and Ahiru are here, and other people I would have never met if I hadn't come...

But...

Kinkan Town is still my home. I was born there, I was raised there, my father is buried there, the house that's been in my family for generations is there...

...And it's currently being invaded by some crazy woman...

I-I think I might go through it.

EDIT: Ahiru--no, I'm not sure if I can trust her to be responsible enough. Rue--no, no, I can't see her really being thrilled to take care of a rodent. ...Sigh, that means... FAKIR -- Take care of Dormouse while I'm gone. O-or find someone else that's willing to. Please? I don't expect to be gone long, so just keep her alive and healthy until I'm back.

((OOC: Autor's going back to his world for a quick update. Two reasons:
1) This'll be tying up some lose ends from a plot I've been hinting at and developing on and off for months now. Anyone remember when I promised to give him a reason to angst less, waaay before he lost his heart? Yeah. This is that plot.
2) So I can spend a bit more time playing Romeo and Lilie instead of depending on Autor for...um....everything.
He won't be gone long--I'll probably bring him back around Friday.

He'll be around for a bit to give some last minute goodbyes and to comment spam a bit longer, and then he'll be gone~<3

EDIT: Autor's gone now--he won't be responding to any more comments.))

ahiru, fakir, rue
