Has anyone seen Ananova? It sounded like she was in trouble on her journal. Please don't tell me she's gone. Why did she have to leave NOW?

[private]

I can't BELIEVE Pique! I apologized--TWICE--I told her I would invite her somewhere else, I TRIED to make up for it--what am I supposed to do?! Flowers? Candy?? Get on my knees and BEG?!

It's not like I ( Read more... )

...Let's say, erm...there's a guy that made a girl upset...and he tried to apologize but she was still angry. How does he get back into good terms with her? Is there some sort of gift that I--that he could give?

I-

Gifts don't always make things right, but if your... friend? finds something that the girl really likes, it might help. A favourite flower or something.

But... Some things can't be solved like that. If words have no effect, in essence trying to bribe the person won't go down much better. I'd think that... Making time for the person, and putting them first would help more than any amount of gifts or words.

It's what Hitsugaya-kun does. ...As well as bring watermelon.

Hmm, I can maybe ask Lilie what she likes...

Well, but I--he, I mean--he already tried to invite the girl out to do something, and she just ignored him. She didn't even answer him.

...I wonder if she likes watermelon. Or maybe lychees.

Anger and disappointment are strong emotions. If all you do is perpetuate that, then there will be no solution.

one offer, one apology isn't proof of anything. If you want to be forgiven, then you have to show that. I'm not saying be unrelenting with requests and gifts but... Once a day, maybe, do something for the person. Even something simple like cooking for them.

Small gestures often enough are far better than a few big ones.

...Ah, but that's what I think. Other people might feel differently.

...I guess it couldn't hurt. ...Maybe I can leave her some cupcakes when I make some for Roxel.

I'll help?

You would...? I'd...I'd like that.

Of course! I can't just give you advice and not help you carry it through. I haven't had cupcakes in a while, anyway.

Heh...I don't think I ever even baked cupcakes until Siran sent her pet to me. I suppose that's one good thing to come out of it...

Baking is easy enough, when you know the ingredients. Sort of like kidou... Or music, really. When you know the parts, it all falls together.

...If you're this sincere, I'm sure she'll forgive you.

Hmm...that's a good way to put it. There's always little veriables, but...the ingredients or notes...those are key. ...Hm, you're starting to think a bit more like a musician, I think.

...Maybe. But I can't compete with him.

Ah, thinking in parts has always come easily to me. I like breaking down kidou into it's components, so when it can be applied to other things it helps.

...Everyone is different. I- like Hitsugaya-kun for Hitsugaya-kun. And I like you for you. To ask me who I prefer, who I would choose to save, it's an impossible question. You're both important, in different ways.

Ahh, I see. That's a handy skill to have.

....Well....but...it's just...
...[sigh]

Honestly, I don't think she likes me very much at all.

But- She agreed to go with you before, didn't she?

Well...yes...but I think she just did it out of guilt.
