dead love rediscovered

Well, it just so accurs that I have received joyous (good) and baffling (bad) news that throw me at a set-back on my love, Charley B. Stevens. What a stalker I have turned out to be!

Here's the to the point summary of it all...

I sent a short email to the history room of the Guilford Free Library during third period study hall and they replied to me so rapidly that when I came home and checked the juno, there it was, an answer to my one question. "What happened to the boy?". Unfortunately enough the answer to this question stirred up more. Here is what the reference librarian wrote to me:

"We do have some information on Charley Stevens who apparently died of typhoid. If you can come into the library and the historical room, we'd be glad to show you what we have. It's not much, but it's something.

Typhoid. Can you believe it? Typhoid! According to DBMD, typhoid fever has about four-hundred cases occuring each year! 12.5 million people each year are affected by it. How unfortunate.

So here it comes, my next question... What does his ingraving mean? If the poor boy died of typhoid how was he sacrificed through the persecution of an "ignorant community"?

Ooo... I feel bad for him. Here arethe symptoms:
  • sustained fever as high as 103 - 104 F (39 - 30 C)
  • feel weak
  • stomach pains
  • headache
  • loss of appetite
  • rash of flat, rose-colored spots

I'm excited and depressed by this.
